The 3rd Annual Shades of Stuttgart event at the District Wine Village in Oliver contributed $1150 dollars in cash and 743LBS of food to the Oliver Food Bank


Additional Food Bank donations were made with $1000 to Kelowna and $500 to each of Kamloops and Penticton

2nd Annual BCIR Porsche Pink Parade (Sept 30, 2024): BCIR hosted its Pink Parade to raise awareness and funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. The event featured ladies in pink, a drive starting at Porsche Centre Kelowna and a lunch at The Rise Golf Course; the club shared donation instructions and links for supporters.

BIG Thank You to the Vancouver Island Region of PCA (mid and North Island members) for collecting $1,619.00 to help Mamas for Mamas – Kelowna Branch after the devastating fires.


They were very grateful for your generous donation!


BCIR President Oskar Ciejek delivered a cheque for $1,000. to the Mamas for Mamas Organization in Kelowna that supports mothers and caregivers in crisis. So far they have helped 20,359 families receive a hand up.


Due to the massive fires in the Okanagan and surrounding cities this past week, many organizations are in need.

Annual Fill a Frunk

Thank you to all the members that gave so generously. All food and donations went to the Food Banks.


Kamloops and area – 95 lbs of food plus $590. and gift certificates Kelowna and area – 533 lbs of food as well as $3,500. plus money donated directly to the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

Okay… the numbers are in! Not only did BCIR Kelowna beat last year’s donations to the Central Okanagan Food Bank… we doubled them!

Cash Donations $10,455, Food Donations 1,430 lb @ $2.60/lb

TOTAL $14,173.00


Kamloops donated 170 pounds of food at $2.60/lb plus $1,775.00 in cash to the Kamloops Food Bank!


A big thank you to all of our BCIR members that donated food and money. Know that your generous donations will help a lot of people in need. And a big thank you to BCIR’s Sponsors as a percentage from all the advertising goes directly toward our charity. Way to go everyone!!!!!

FOOD BANKS


BCIR members gave generously at this year’s Fill a Frunk for the Food Banks. We raised over $7,000.00 all together that has the buying power of $21,000 of food staples for the communities!

PROJECT LITERACY KELOWNA


Provides free tutoring support for adults seeking to improve their language and math skills. Established in 1986, Project Literacy Kelowna Society was the first independent literacy organization chartered in BC.
